Emergency decree extended

Prayut Chan-o-cha, Thailand’s Prime Minister, has just extended an emergency decree , which was expected to end on 30th April 2020, for another month.
The enactment of the 2005 Royal Decree of Emergency Situations was imposed on 24th March to battle the rise of COVID-19 infections. The decree then expanded to curfews, businesses shutdowns, and travel bans.
Additionally, the PM ensured that the government will still work on easing the lockdown, but the people’s health is the first priority.
