Fresh durian has a distinct, pungent smell, but will surprise you with its fluffy and creamy flesh that has a deliciously sweet taste.
Durian lovers shouldn’t miss this dessert, which costs ฿69 (~USD2.30). And don’t underestimate it just because it is frozen – it still has a rich scent and flavour that tastes just as good as getting it fresh.

To enjoy it, simply unpack it and warm it up. You’ll see chunks of durian coated in coconut milk atop a bed of sticky rice. All the ingredients have been carefully selected from various regions in Thailand.
The durian itself is the most famous species of the fruit in Thailand that comes from Monthong – which exports the fruit internationally. This particular durian type has a mild sweet taste that is not too overpowering.
