To reduce direct contact with other patients, you can also get tested for COVID-19 at a drive-thru testing station at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital.
Once you’re there, you don’t need to step out of the vehicle. Just roll down your window and allow the staff member to take a sample from your nasal cavity and throat. Then, the hospital will send your sample to a laboratory for examination.
The results will be sent to you via e-mail, SMS, and the hospital’s app after 5 – 8 hours from when your sample has been collected. If you come here in the afternoon, you’ll get the result the following morning.
Due to huge demand of people wanting to get tested, you must leave your phone number with the hospital’s inbox on Facebook and wait for a scheduled appointment via SMS. This way, the hospital can manage a huge number of people per day and deliver fast service.
Price: ฿6,500 for both Thais and foreigners (Price from the hospital’s website)
Address: 436 Ramkhamhaeng Rd, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok 10240

Covidtracker is available in Thai, English, Chinese, and Japanese

A Thai website developing and software company 5Lab has launched a website called Covidtracker, which allows the public to track COVID-19 cases around Thailand.
The website also includes information on the patients’ status, hospitals that are open for testing, as well as clarifications on any false rumours regarding the situation.
If you’re in a high-risk group, we urge you to visit any hospital on the list. For those who are not at risk, it’s highly advisable to remain calm and protect yourself by avoiding going to crowded areas, washing hands regularly, and wearing masks – be strong and safe, everyone.
You can also take precautionary measures such as daily temperature taking to ensure that you’re keeping up with your health.
