Ari is a lively and trendy foodie neighbourhood in Bangkok that offers almost everything you think of, from traditional Thai restaurants to various cool cafes. 

There are many new spots popping up here all the time, and the newly-opened Chubby Dough is another pop-up shop that cafe hoppers should check out for delicious snacks – and a pastel pink photoshoot while you’re at it.

Chubby Dough is a pastel pink cart parked in front of the community space, Gump’s Ari. The store offers American-style doughnuts that come with its signature chewy texture and less sweet taste.

There are various selections of doughnuts to choose from, including Original, Strawberry, Cocoa, and Sweet Potato at ฿100/5 pieces, and Honey Doughnuts at ฿80/3 pieces.

Don’t hesitate to pair the snack with a Milkshake (฿80) available in three flavours: Strawberry, Chocolate and Coffee. The strawberry milkshake is the bestseller, offering a milky sweet taste with a little tangy note from the added strawberry jam. 

It’s also recommended to order Chubby Shake (฿100) for a set of one milkshake and two doughnuts on the top of a cup.
