Chiang Rai opens new skywalk with 360° views of Thailand, Laos & Myanmar
For those who have planned to take a vacation trip to Chiang Rai soon, we’re sure this will be good news for you. A new skywalk has recently been opened in Chiang Saen district, Chiang Rai with 360° views of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. The new attraction has reportedly gained more than 20,000 visitors last week, becoming a new landmark in the city. So we would suggest you consider adding this place into your itinerary if you’re headed there soon.

New skywalk in Chiang Rai lets you enjoy 360° views of 3 countries

On 27th October 2022, Komchadluek reported that Chiang Rai has recently opened a new skywalk, “Skywalk Pha Ngao, Three Lands“, in Chiang Saen district and gained more than 20,000 visitors on the 3-day holiday in the last week of the month.

The skywalk reportedly boasts two 35-metre long glass walkways embedded into the mountain with two circular stops and faces Mekong River, allowing visitors to see scenic lands from Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Also, behind the skywalk lies a temple where visitors can drop by to pay your respects to Buddha.
Visitors will be charged ฿30 (~USD0.90)/person for a ride up to the skywalk and ฿40 (~USD1)/person for an admission fee. Plus, guests will be required to wear provided socks to keep the glass in good condition.

So, whoever is a fan of Chiang Rai and loves taking in panoramic views of nature should make time to pay this skywalk a visit. Or, if you can’t stand big crowds of people, we suggest waiting till next month since it’s recently opened and has already attracted a large number of guests.
