Central World in Bangkok was another shopping centre to join the creativity trend and launched a doggie-inspired robot named K9 that would roam around the mall area with a hand sanitiser dispenser on its back.

Mimicking dogs, K9 quickly became children’s favourite which was great because it urged them to clean their hands more often.

K9 was not the only robot that was created to look after us. He came with ROC, aka Robot For Care, a robot that checks visitors’ body temperature to ensure they’re free of a fever before entering the mall.

When you’re out shopping at Central World, don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for K9!
