Thai Airways Has A “Cabin Restaurant” For Travellers Who Miss Flying

Thai Airways cafe in Thailand

Ever since the pandemic, many travellers are missing going on trips – even if it’s as simple as going to the airport.

To help combat our wanderlust, Thai Airways has just launched a cafe that looks like an airline cabin, allowing customers to relax and enjoy themselves as one would on a real flight.

Everything but being in the sky

Thai Airways even equipped the cafe with real airstairs to mimic the boarding experience. You’ll even receive an e-boarding pass to enter this special cafe.

The “plane” is decorated with real passenger seats, which is slightly more spacious than how it’s like onboard.

Enjoy inflight meals such as international and local cuisine. Everything is prepared by cabin chefs, such as Penne Pasta Carbonara (฿129), Chicken Shawarma (฿95), and Thai-style Noodles (฿55)

There are many more pastries and drinks available at the cafe too.

There are photo spots for Instagrammers to check out, such as a “plane door” to pretend like you’re a cabin crew.

All services are provided by staff in Thai Airways flight attendant suits. Eventually, the only thing that’ll bring you back to reality is the fact that you’re not in the sky with fluffy clouds.
