Bangkok’s stepped up their train game by launching the BTS Gold Line with an automated monorail that links Krung ThonBuri skytrain station to Khlong San district office, allowing shopaholics to scour through price tags at Iconsiam.

The BTS Green Line has extended from Phaholyothin 59 all the way to Khu Khot Station, making your commute to Don Mueang International Airport way easier if you have been wanting to travel around Thailand!


Better transport systems in Bangkok

Bangkok’s mass transit system was developed in the 1990s, but the metro’s issue with congestion and pavements with potholes have been ongoing. 

Now, the future’s brighter for the city to become a more pedestrian-friendly city with less traffic and better public trains. Will BKK become the next Singapore with its upgraded transport and pedestrian system? We’ll see!
